Angelo Thomas is a writer, filmmaker, and mental health advocate. The course of Angelo’s career changed at the moment he released “To a Life Worth Living,” an autobiographical short film documenting his journey to recovery from anorexia. Since then, Angelo has written and published “The Incredible Jake Parker,” a critically acclaimed young adult novel on the topic of eating disorders, and is also the writer, director, and producer of the upcoming feature film adaptation. He works with the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and is a spokesperson for The Center for Balanced Living in Columbus, Ohio. Angelo attends NEDA walks and conferences across the country to spread his message of hope and to empower others to pursue their own lives worth living.
