Angelo Thomas is a writer, filmmaker, and mental health advocate. The course of Angelo’s career changed at the moment he released “To a Life Worth Living,” an autobiographical short film documenting his journey to recovery from anorexia. Since then, Angelo has written a critically acclaimed and nationally endorsed young adult novel, “The Incredible Jake Parker.” He is a spokesperson for The Center for Balanced Living in Columbus, Ohio and an ambassador for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). He has worked with The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) in several capacities, including speaking at NEDA walks and conferences across the country. Angelo’s power, passion, and purpose comes from sharing his story and from inspiring and empowering others to seek recovery and to pursue their own lives worth living.
